Training Overview
The Sonic Medicine Sound Healing Facilitator Training introduces the foundational principles of sound healing and the role of the facilitator in holding safe, intentional sound healing sessions.
Throughout the training you will explore what sound healing is, the role of intention and mindset, and the language of music and vibration. You will also develop an understanding of frequency awareness, including concepts such as 440 Hz and universal resonance, and how sound can influence the body, mind and emotional landscape.
The program explores energetic frameworks including the chakra system and the relationship between frequency and energetic centres. You will learn how instruments, looping and layered sound textures can be used within a session, as well as practical approaches to composing and creating sound environments that support relaxation, emotional release and energetic alignment.
You will also learn how to prepare yourself and your space to facilitate sound healing sessions with clarity and presence, how to structure a session from beginning to end, and how to work with rhythm, intervals, notes and energetic flow to guide meaningful sound healing experiences.
By the end of the training, you will have the foundational understanding and practical framework needed to confidently begin facilitating your own sound healing sessions.

The Sonic Medicine Sound Healing Facilitator Training is a structured foundational program designed to equip participants with the knowledge, awareness and practical skills required to facilitate safe and intentional sound healing sessions.

Module 1
Foundations of Sound Healing
This module introduces the core philosophy and principles that underpin the Sonic Medicine approach to sound healing.

Jay was asked in a recent interview with Music Australia:
QUESTION: Jay, why are people learning music 3 to 5 times faster online with you?
ANSWER: “I never would have guessed it. I literally tell the parents not to waste their money on in-person lessons now; it’s flushing money down the toilet.
Now this is not for every teacher, I have been blessed to have taught well over 10,000 students, so I have really crafted the art of teaching the 20 different instruments I teach clearly and efficiently, which plays a big part in this.
But yes, I have seen a parabolic improvement rate with my students online, at least 3 to 5 times faster than in person.When teaching online, I write on the screen with a pen (just like pen on paper), and I use cutting-edge technology with five different high-definition 4k cameras filming from every angle, close-up, wide angles and more, often multiple camera angles on the screen, simultaneously, etc.
But I think the biggest game changer of all is that I record all the lesson notes and videos in real-time for the students to practice with each week, and at the end of each lesson, the student's practice notes and videos are uploaded to their folder, and their weekly practice schedule is ready for them to follow. Gone of the days of “I can’t remember what you taught me” or “my dog ate my homework”.

How much time do I need to put aside to complete the program tasks?
Level 1 is often completed in 6 to 12 weeks, however as it is self paced, you can complete in your own time and take as long as you like.
